"TEAM WEBSITE" in California
Sports Talk1 is conducting its 3rd Annual Poll to determine who has the BEST High School "Team Website".
There are TWO current polls for the 2005-2006 school year.
One poll is for the "Best high school Team Website in the Country". And the second poll is for the "Best High School Team Website" in your State".
Many High Schools around the country have been creating very informative and creative "Team Websites" to promote their High School athletic teams.
These Team Websites are more than just the generic school web sites that have only the schedules, roster, and the e-mail addresses of the coaches.
These team websites are creative and very informative and promote their high school athletic teams.
The polls and listings of high school team websites also help promote your high school not only in your state but also around the country.
Check out other high schools "Team Websites" to follow their progress in their seasons and see how creative their websites are.
The past "Sports Talk Golden 'Team Website' Award Winner" in the state that received the most votes was:

If your high school has a Team Website and is not listed please e-mail us to have your Team Web Site listed in the poll.
In order to be included the Team Website must not be just the basic "school schedule and roster" website that most high schools have with their school or district site.
Most High Schools will have a portion of their school website with basic sports information. However, to be listed in the poll it is necessary to have more than just a schedule and roster to be included in the poll.
Also, team websites that are branded websites that are generic and/or designed by a website company may not be included.
And be sure to vote in BOTH Polls; for the Best Website in the Country AND the Best Website in your State.
When casting your vote take into consideration the detail of each high school site, the creativity, the graphics, design, number of additional information pages, originality, etc.
There is no prize for the winning team site, just the pride and enjoyment of learning about high school teams around the country, following the team's progress, and viewing their website!
If your high school team is not listed in the Team Directory and is not the generic team site from the high school with just schedules and very basic information, you can submit your Team site to be included by clicking on the link below and sending an e-mail to "Sports Talk".
Also, some team websites will not be included since if they are a "branded website" by a team website company that has their sites set up with similar templates and a "team web master" just basically "feels in the blanks", "change the colors", type of format. This contest encourages creativity and originality.
